Unapologetically Rez began with a small offering of URez logoed merchandise. In 2023, Paula became a designer in the annual Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians’ Kananesgi Fashion Show.
The designs you see in the shop are based on traditional Cherokee basket, pottery, legends designs in modern formats. Paula began to add designs created by her 16-year-old grandson Auron Taylor as well. Auron is a rising junior at Cherokee High School, in Cherokee, NC. Auron is an enrolled member of the EBCI and is also part Dine’ (Navajo Nation). He is an accomplished artist, honor student, and on the Autism spectrum.
